Abstract
Introduction: The Kansas gypsum deposits of economic value form a bell lying northeast and southwest across the state. The area of exposed rock is two hundred miles long and varies in width from five miles at the northern end to twenty-five miles at the central part, and one hundred and forty miles at the southern end.
