The author provided suggestions for how advisors can build relationships with coaches, recognizing that coaches are focused on winning and have more power than advisors do. The author suggested that advisors communicate regularly with coaches, attend practices and competitions, and "sell" their services such as in a brochure that outlines what they provide. In addition, the author recommended that advisors provide workshops and professional development to coaches.
