dc.descriptionVisual evaluation is a convenient and efficient way to identify and grade the aphid resistance of Glycine soja. Inoculating aphids to net covered plants can greatly increase the aphid numbers in the tested plants and improve the reliability of resistant evaluation results. The needed aphids could be reproduced in advance on soybean plants. The responses of wild soybean to aphid infestation were the same during both the seedling and flowering stages.
