Abstract

Introduction: It is manifest that labor is necessary to the production of wealth, and to the existence of a civilized society. The decree has gone forth “In the sweat of thy face shalt those eat bread till those return unto the ground.” Man is endorsed with powers which when cultivated make him monarch over matter. Nature supplies the materials but his labor fashions them for use.
