dc.description During the early twentieth century, women were not permitted to play intercollegiate games, so academic classes played each other and faculty. The Class of 1910 basketball team did not win the championship that year, but still received "beautiful black sweaters with '10s on them" from classmates. Players included (in alphabetical order and not all pictured here) Reva Cree, Maude Estes, Christine Heim, Emma Lee, Hope Olive Palmer, Esther Sieder, and Edna Willis.
