The Historical Photographs Collection provides a limited selection of the historical photographs preserved in the University Archives. The full University Archives of K-State is housed in Hale Library and must be accessed in-person. The images in the on-line gallery are representative of what is contained in the full physical collection. Selections include photos from the 1880s to 1950s of students, campus life, buildings, faculty, administration, classes, organizations, athletic teams, and military training.
The University Archives preserves the official records of K-State that have permanent value, including photographs from various offices, departments, organizations, individuals on campus, and alumni. The entire collection contains over 100,000 images dating from the 1870s to the present.
