This collection of Kansas Farmer magazines spans from 1863 to 1954 demonstrating the changes in agricultural and rural life in Kansas over nearly a century. Kansas Farmer was created in 1863 by the Kansas State Board of Agriculture. Soon after, the publication moved into public hands and developed into a weekly state farm magazine, providing information on agricultural matters for Kansas farmers. Each issue has information, ideas, news, and analysis designed to help farmers maximize their productivity and profitability.
