The Libraries serve over 25,000 university students, faculty, and staff, but as a land grant institution, K-State is also charged with serving the state. The pre-designed tours allow librarians to deliver educational experiences while making efficient use of staff time. The tour lineup offers options for all K-12 students. Hale Library: It’s a Great Big Building! gives elementary school students the chance to match up playing card images to the real things in the library. Smile, It’s Hale Library! offers kids a chance to have their photo taken while interacting with various spaces and technologies. You’ve Got Questions; We’ve Got Answers engages middle school students using the Cephalonian Method while Hale: A History examines architecture and space usage.
