Description

Numerous sclerotia which resembles black pepper is noted on the vascular bundles. Stalks are weakened and lodging takes place.
Host/Plant: Corn (Zea mays) and other crops including sorghum and soybean
Pest/Path: Charcoal Rot (Macrophomina phaseolina)
