An analysis of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Keyboard Partita in B-flat Major, Beethoven’s Waldstein Sonata Op. 53, Chopin’s Ballade in G Minor, and Voříšek’s Fantasia in C, Op. 12, using historical, theoretical, and stylistic considerations

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to analyze the works performed on the author’s master’s recital on March 29th, 2026. The works featured on the recital are Keyboard Partita in B-flat Major by Johann Sebastian Bach, Sonata 21 “Waldstein” by Ludwig van Beethoven, Fantasia in C by Jan Václav Voříšek, and Ballade in G minor by Fryderyk Chopin. The work approaches the analysis of each work using historical, theoretical, and stylistic considerations.
