Therapeutic horticulture is an emerging therapeutic approach that utilizes plants and plant-related activities to promote overall well-being. Research has demonstrated numerous benefits to TH, including improved attentional capacity, reduced stress, and greater academic achievement (Guo et al., 2024). Additionally, engagement with plants and the natural world has also been linked to students achieving higher test scores, improved writing skills, enhanced creativity, and greater cognitive development (Dadvand et al., 2015). This work highlights the value of TH programming for improving student wellness and educational outcomes, while also serving as a foundation for future development in the field. By translating scientific research into templates, lesson plans, and resources, this curriculum serves as a tool for facilitators to create their own TH programs. Future research will further strengthen the curriculum and enable its application to wider audiences and programs as the field continues to grow.
