| dc.description.abstract | This report will provide a biographical and historical description of the work’s performed on Isaac Allmon's Master’s recital. Each chapter of the report will also provide an extended look into specific pedagogical considerations for each piece. The four works included in this report are Sonata in Bb for Bassoon by Jerome Besozzi, Concerto for Tuba by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Sonata for Tuba and Piano by Paul Hindemith, and "Adagio" from The Limpid Stream by Dimitri Shostakovich. The pedagogical solutions will be provided by the author and will include external pedagogical resources including etude books and various warmups or daily routines. The final chapter will describe in more detail the pedagogical resources discussed in each chapter as well as biographical information about the authors and editors of each source. | |
