Abstract
Description
Potatoes that have been stored under moist and anaerobic conditions are very vulnerable to numerous bacterial and fungal organisms. Often, the breakdown of potato tubers is attributable to bacterial ring rot. This is not necessarily true. It would be nearly impossible to determine the causal agent in tubers that are in advanced stages of decay.
Host/Plant: Potato (Solanum tuberosum subsp. tuberosum)
