Abstract

In the academy, disabled students disclose personal information at a much higher rate than non-disabled students in order to attain accommodations. This research piloted a simulation-based training grounded in the researcher’s lived experience as a disabled learner and instructor on first year graduate teaching instructors which encourage accommodation despite ambiguous disclosure.
