Abstract
This report is comprised of the analysis and research from the comprehensive examination question based on the Graduate Conducting Recital of Eric M. Thompson. The historical and theoretical analysis outlines the processes required for the preparation of both rehearsals and performance application. The analysis includes Dancing Fire by Kevin Day and Let Freedom Ring by Ryan Nowlin. The recital was performed in two parts in the McCain Auditorium at Kansas State University. The first installment occurred on March 9, 2021. The second installment occurred on April 25, 2021.
