dc.description.abstractSustainability is about the triple bottom line of balancing ecological and social priorities with economic priorities. This means that the jobs of the future need to involve sound ecological and social principles as well as creating valued productivity. “Green jobs” are emerging as a major priority for in Kansas, and a potential major jobs growth sector. This panel will feature Kansas higher education leaders and partners that are focused on “green jobs” growth in Kansas. They will discuss economic growth and workforce training needs in Kansas as well as the role of higher education in promoting this growth and training.en_US
