Abstract
Description
During this period, more than 2,500 students attended the Kansas State Agricultural College, of whom one-third were women. It was estimated that three-fourths of the students came from and returned to farms. Through 1890 there were 232 graduates of whom 73 were women. -- excerpt from Chapter 1
