Description

Southern rust is similar to common rust. Subtle differences such as spore morphology and southern rust pustules are more common on the upper surface of the leaf.
Host/Plant: Corn, plume grasses, teosinte, and gama grasses. (Zea mays)
Pest/Path: Southern Rust (Puccinia polysora)
