Abstract

Description

A storage facility in Sudan. Sorghum grain is placed in burlap sacks. The filled sacks are placed in a small depression and then covered with soil. The anaerobic conditions prevent insect damage and some storage molds. This is a satisfactory means of storage due to the extremely dry conditions.
