DATA & FILE OVERVIEW File List: K-Rex Autoshaping Data-DoseResponse-Experiment2-8-11-26.csv and K-Rex Autoshaping Data-DoseResponse-8-11-26-Experiment1.csv Relationship between files, if important: They represent 2 separate experiments run with similar procedures Additional related data collected that was not included in the current data package: Raw data files available upon request Are there multiple versions of the dataset? An earlier version of the spreadsheet for Experiment 1 (with fewer measures and responding broken down into left lever and right lever trials) can be found at https://hdl.handle.net/2097/45186 METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: The rats received once-daily i.p. injections of amphetamine at the doses listed for 7 days, with the final injection occurring 14 days before the beginning of behavioral training. The behavioral training methodology is largely the same as the autoshaping section of the methods in Pickens, C.L., Cook, A., & Gaeddert, B. (2020). Dose-dependent effects of alcohol injections on omission-contingency learning have an inverted-U pattern. Behavioural Brain Research, 392, 112736. In Experiment 2, we also assessed locomotor/behavioral sensitization in response to a 0.5 mg/kg i.p. injection of amphetamine. The rats were immediately placed into the locomotor chambers for a 30-minute test after the injection. Methods for processing the data: The data were organized in a spreadsheet from the behavioral training program's output files. Instrument- or software-specific information needed to interpret the data: The data are in a spreadsheet that should be able to be read by most spreadsheet programs. Standards and calibration information, if appropriate: N/A Environmental/experimental conditions: Standard room temperature and humidity Describe any quality-assurance procedures performed on the data: N/A People involved with sample collection, processing, analysis and/or submission: Charles L.
