This collection provides a limited selection of historical photographs preserved in the University Archives of Kansas State University located in Hale Library. The images are representative of what is contained in the collection and include photos of students, campus life, buildings, faculty and administration, classes, organizations, athletic teams, and military training from the 1880s to 1950.

The University Archives preserves the official records of K-State appraised as having permanent value, including photographs transferred from various offices, departments, organizations, and individuals on campus. Photographs have also been donated by alumni. The entire collection contains over 100,000 images dating from the 1870s to the present.
